Scott Kover, President, developed AUM bodyworks in 2005 to use his bodywork and Yoga knowledge to offer Healing, Maintenance and Relaxation to everyone he can. Practicing yoga regularly since 2001, Scott completed his 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher training in 2003. Until recently, he was teaching classes regularly at the Yoga Center of Columbia. Currently, he teaches privately and is scouting locations to begin a class in the Baltimore area. Through training in the anatomy of yoga as well as through his bodywork training, he has amassed a great knowledge of how the body functions during yoga postures and breath work. His teaching style is based on a desire to challenge his students to play their edges while being light and humorous. In addition to teaching yoga classes, he offers personal one-on-one sessions to meet your specific needs. These sessions can be held at our office, or your home or office. If you have a desire to begin or deepen a yoga practice that is personalized for you, let us know! In 2004, Scott graduated from the Baltimore School of Massage. In early 2005, he became nationally certified through the NCBTMB (National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork). In addition to his National Certification, Scott is affiliated with the AMTA (American Massage Therapy Association) and is licensed by the Board of Chiropractor Examiners for the State of Maryland. Since becoming certified as a Massage Therapist, he completed training with Claire Marie Miller in Integrative Reflexology and is a Level 3 Lymph Drainage Therapist with the Upledger Institute. Most recently, Scott was Reiki 1 attuned in the USUI Reiki Method.
