AUM bodyworks is a Baltimore Based company specializing in Bodywork Therapies as well as Yoga Guidance and Instruction. Our goal is to help all of our clients achieve a happier healthier body through stress reduction, relaxation and realignment.

What is AUM?
AUM - also OM (ōm) is the primal sound or vibration from which the entire universe constantly emanates. It consists in Sanskrit of the three sounds (a), (u), and (m), representing various fundamental triads and believed to be the spoken essence of the universe. It is uttered as a mantra and in affirmations and blessings. It is the sound of creative departure and return. The sounding of 'Om' is the beginning of a transformative process which delivers us to a state of awareness enabling us to actually experience identity with the supreme Creative Principle.
Why "Healing. Maintenance. Relaxation."?
The services that we offer all have Healing properties for your physical and your mental state. We are so busy mentally and physically that we tend to neglect our bodies need for realignment, rest and relaxation. A few hours of sleep a night doesn't always cut it on its own. Often times that sleep isn't all that restful as we toss and turn trying to get comfortable and sometimes wake up with thoughts in our heads that make it hard to get back to sleep.
Our services also can be utilized for regular Maintenance purposes. Through regular bodywork and/or a regular yoga practice, the body can begin to readapt to it's optimum state of balance creating a more balanced and healthy body.
