What are the benefits of Seated Massage?
Seated Massage is when a Massage Therapist comes to your workplace.
Sessions last between 10 and 15 minutes (productivity will increase and smiles will be larger on your employees with 15-minute sessions).
Generally covers the neck, shoulders and back and occasionally the head, arms and hands using no oil or lotion while the recipient is fully clothed.
Sessions are provided in a massage chair provided by the therapist.
What are the benefits of Seated Massage?
Stress is a fact of life, and the workplace is no exception. Deadlines, changing technology, and conflicts are just a few of the stresses workers cope with daily. The effects of stress can lead to headaches, backaches, neck pain, listlessness, depression, irritability, physical and emotional exhaustion just to name a few.
A room with a door (i.e. conference room, break room or other quiet space) is preferred to give the employees an opportunity to disconnect with soft music and soft lighting while receiving the bodywork.
There is no up-front investment in equipment or facilities.
You pay only for employees who use it.
Employees can pay part or all of the cost.
Massages can take place on break time so no work time is lost.
Two massages a month cost much less per employee than most other health programs.
Once on-site massage is in place, you may find it is also a great way to
recognize birthdays or service anniversaries, provide incentive awards for
good attendance or an accident-free period, or give a bonus for achieving
company and individual goals or completing projects.
These uses are also an ideal way to try on-site massage without an ongoing
commitment.
Typically we can fit four people per hour with 15 minute
sessions. For companies with a large group of employees, we can either devote
up to 7 hours to your company with one therapist, or have more than
one therapist providing sessions.
Strokes begin with light to moderate pressure. As the tissue warms
and loosens, the strokes become deeper to allow for breaking up of congealed
fascia and relaxation of muscles. Generally, no oil or lotion is used (with
the exception of the occasional neck or arm work). Most work is done through
clothing.
Each session concludes with brushing strokes to gently help return you to
a more present state.

Pricing is set at $1 per minute per session. If scheduling more than 4 hours, we require that each therapist receive one or two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute meal period. These breaks are at no charge.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Cash and Personal or Business Checks as payment. If your company requires an invoice it can be provided. Our terms are NET 15. If other arrangements need to be made, please let us know.
